This course will provide student teachers with pedagogical knowledge in classroom instruction and planning. It introduces student teachers to the repertoire of competencies needed to align instruction to students’ learning needs while focusing on the curriculum framework. The course provides on-sight planning instruction as required by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology. Student teachers are also introduced to a variety of the most current and effective teaching methods and strategies, using both inductive and deductive models of teaching to effectively plan and assess instruction.
