This course will provide the opportunity for students to continue to build their vocabulary and grammar of the Spanish language by developing and practicing the four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will be competent to engage in functional daily conversations and activities. Students will enhance their Spanish linguistic skills to imbue in a bilingual workplace or take higher coursework in Spanish. Spanish is a global language; it is among the top five languages in the world. Students will appreciate its rich origin and culture. It introduces different registers of the language and more advanced grammatical structures. Students will be guided in the process of articulating well-organized essays. Students will learn about the social, geographical, political, and cultural aspects of Central and Latin American regions.

This course is designed to learn how families should reflect the love of Jesus Christ, and emphasize values and principles that shape family life and daily living. How to “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”. This sense of togetherness is found throughout biblical teachings: from choosing a life partner to marriage and raising children. The goal is to live a life that reflects Christian values and honors, God in all aspects, from personal health to family dynamics and societal contributions.
